Introduction
An interim review can relate to the entire finding or order, or just part of it.
We can carry out an interim review of
- a finding of injury or threat of injury or retardation,
- an order continuing such a finding.
It can be carried out on our own initiative or at the request of
- the Minister of Finance,
- the Canada Border Services Agency,
- any person or government.
Ways of filing your request
You can file a request for an interim review by
- using the Secure E-filing Service (preferred option); or
- sending an email to citt-tcce@tribunal.gc.ca (if you accept the associated risks and you’re filing information that belongs to you or your firm only).

Required information
Include the following information in your request:
- your name, address for service, business and mobile telephone numbers, fax number and email address (provide the same information on your counsel, as applicable);
- the nature of your interest in the finding or order;
- the grounds on which you believe that an interim review is warranted and a statement of facts on which those grounds are based; and
- the nature of the order that you believe we should make when the interim review is complete.
Grounds for an interim review
Include the following when presenting the grounds for an interim review:
- the sufficient new facts or change in circumstances that have occurred since the finding or order, and/or the sufficient facts that weren’t put in evidence during the previous injury inquiry or the most recent related expiry review, and that were not discoverable by the exercise of reasonable diligence (the relevant circumstances);
- the imported and domestic goods that the relevant circumstances affect or will affect;
- any other changes in circumstances, domestically or internationally, including changes in the demand for the goods or their supply, and changes in trends related to sources of imports into Canada or domestic production; and
- any other information that is relevant to the Tribunal’s decision on whether to commence an interim review.
Confidential information
Try to base your submission only on public information. If you file confidential information, provide a public summary or redacted version of the confidential information and comply with subsection 46(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act.
