Appointment of Bree Jamieson-Holloway as Chairperson of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal

Ottawa, Ontario, March 24, 2026—Bree Jamieson-Holloway has been appointed Chairperson of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal effective to December 4, 2027. Ms. Jamieson-Holloway was appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Tribunal on December 5, 2022, and has served as Acting Chairperson since December 31, 2025. Prior to joining the Tribunal, she practised law in London, England and Hong Kong.
Throughout her career, Ms. Jamieson-Holloway has gathered extensive experience in working with and representing government, public and private sector companies, as well as international organizations in the areas of corporate finance and corporate/commercial practice. She has also provided business, legal support and strategic consulting services to businesses entering the Canadian market and establishing operations in Canada. Ms. Jamieson-Holloway brings a strong understanding of international trade, regulatory frameworks and global business practices to her work at the Tribunal.
Ms. Jamieson-Holloway is a mentor to young women and dedicates considerable time to supporting organizations working to advance meaningful inclusion and diversity. In 2020, she was recognized as one of Ottawa’s Forty under 40 and in 2025, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Businesswoman of the Year Awards.
Ms. Jamieson-Holloway holds a Bachelor of Criminology from the University of Ottawa and completed an international secondment at the University of Reading in England, where she studied International Relations and Business. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Law in London, England.
